HIGH POWER HERRING SWIMBAIT
In early 2007 I designed the High Power Herring after needing a shad and herring profile swimbait to use for trophy bass fishing on lakes like Varner and Lanier. There were plenty of trout profile baits on the market but none of them filled my needs for a swimbait to imitate the herring, golden shiners, and shad of the lakes I fished. It instantly became one of my favorite swimbaits and has been a big part of many of my tournament wins and has been responsible for many trophy size fish caught over the past few years. In October 2009 I started a project to bring this bait to the public when my clients and freinds also needed a better quality swimbait to imitate shad and herring. Well, the project to produce one of the best swimbaits out there is complete. If you have a need for the very best in swimbaits with this type profile and action you have found it here.
The bait you see here now is a culmination of years of trophy bass fishing experience on many impoundments in the South and the combination of my ability and desire to build the best shad / herring swimbait possible. This is one swimbait that does it all. It runs at the slowest speeds as well as the high power speeds for which it is named. Herring are known for thier darting high speed ability at the surface while trying to escape from hungry bass and stripers. This bait has a tight kicking action that imitates herring, shad and shiners. The bait will not roll, lean or blow out when fished as fast as you can reel it with the rod tip down. It also has a 180 degree twitching/walking action both on the surface and underwater. It has the ability to change speed and direction in an instant. The bait has a true slow fall in the water (slow fall model) and maintains a horizonal fall as it sinks. If you want a slower moving slow roll bait it also does that too. But don't just take my word for it visit my YouTube page and see for yourself.

The swimbait is made of durable resin and will not absorb water. The screweyes are strong, rustproof, 100% stainless steel and the hinge pins are made of carbon fiber to increase the action and durability of the bait. The bait was designed to hold up to anything it might be put through and is by far more durable than it's competition. The fiber tail is molded into the bait. The finish on the bait is airbrushed in multiple layers to give it a realistic bait fish appearance. Then a thick durable clearcoat is applied by hand to protect the finish of the bait, keep the paint clean, and bring out the full color and effect of the paint. These baits are 100% hand made by my hands in the USA. I have no employees and make the baits one at a time to insure that each bait is like the one before it. All baits also get a full swimtest before shipping to insure the quality and swimming action of the bait. The baits now come in three sink rates floating, slow sink, and fast sink.
